The health and safety of our staff is a priority here at Tier 1 - we want to make sure everyone gets home happy and well at the end of the day. Both physical and mental health are valued here, and we get help from Canterbury Safety Lady.

Our health and safety considerations extend beyond just the physical. One of our focuses is on building our Tier 1 community so that everyone feels supported and enjoys what they do. We are a team where everyone should feel confident around each other.

We take the risks of the construction industry seriously. Canterbury Safety Lady, a small business run by our co-founder, Tammy, helps provide guidance and training for us to make sure everyone feels safe. We have regular toolbox talks, follow up-to-date WorkSafe NZ regulations, and make an ongoing effort to improve safety practices.
